PROGRAM

Day 1

We meet at the Albis Pass summit, by the fountain under the sycamore maple. After a brief, informal introduction, we set off immediately. After just a few meters, we leave the walking path and ascend the first few hundred meters along a narrow forest trail.

During the approximately 45-minute hike, you'll gain exciting insights into the Sihlwald Wilderness Park and learn about different tree species. Before climbing the observation tower, we'll enjoy a light snack. Once at the top, we'll take our first practical steps using a map and compass. The 360-degree panorama provides ideal conditions for orientation – and the view is simply breathtaking.

From the tower, we can already spot our camp, to which we will then descend. A nutritious lunch awaits us there, so that we can start the afternoon refreshed.

Step by step, you'll learn how to build a cozy bedroom using string, tarpaulin, and a few branches. Since we're in a meadow and not a forest, a little creativity is required – there are no trees to use as natural anchor points. Once everyone has set up camp, we'll head out for an idyllic walk in the Sihlwald Wilderness Park. Along the way, you'll learn interesting facts about the forest, its history, and its inhabitants.

Back at camp, we'll cook our dinner together over the fire and get comfortable. A short, playful review of your newly acquired knowledge about orientation and nature will kick off the all-important "Operation Dessert." Well-fed and full of new impressions, we'll then retire to our individual bedrooms and enjoy the night under the open sky – perhaps even beneath the stars.

Day 2

We wake up surrounded by nature and start the day with a balanced breakfast around the campfire. Sharing stories about each participant's night is fascinating. Afterwards, we pack up our sleeping quarters and leave the campsite as we found it.

Lightly packed, we begin our hike to the Schnabelburg ruins. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating historical facts about the region and its unique past. The trail leads us onward to the Albishorn, where we'll enjoy a delicious lunch with stunning panoramic views.

Afterwards, you'll have another opportunity to practice and refine your map and compass skills under professional guidance. On the way back, we'll re-enter the Sihlwald Wilderness Park and fully enjoy this wild and romantic route. Your newly acquired knowledge will allow you to move more mindfully through the forest and perceive your surroundings more intensely.

Back at camp, we pack our things and head back to the Albis Pass. There, we say our goodbyes with heavy hearts, but with a backpack full of unforgettable memories. From here, we return to our loved ones.

See you next time!
